Can I sell an ACR $2650 Main Event Ticket
Main Post: Can I sell an ACR $2650 Main Event Ticket

Looks like no:
"• You cannot sell your primary ticket, only players with multiple tickets may sell the extras.
• If you have won multiple Venom tickets that you wish to sell, then you may do so at whatever price you and the buyer agree upon. To do this, both parties must email [email protected] from their email address registered to their WPN player account and confirm the price agreed and that they’re willing to purchase/sell."

Maybe consider selling some big pieces of yourself, if you know people that would be interested in such a thing.
Will CMPS phase 3 results be a sell the news event? : shroomstocks

We sell tickets to our events and end up losing about $2-3k each month in fees from the site we use. How feasible is it to make our own site to sell these tickets to recoup that cost?
Main Post:
Hey everyone! We run Pub Trivia at a bunch of different bars across our country. For many of the events, we sell tickets for $10 each and, with eventbrite fees and taxes that ends up being closer to $12. Our customers (and most customers) are willing to accept ticket fees as a part of life.
Obviously, some of those fees go to the actual processing of transactions, but other than that, there is about $2000 every month that our customers are spending that doesn't go to us, as we continue to grow this number will reach closer to $5000/month.
Our idea is to build a site separate from our own website as a ticket processor that would
- be better suited to us than the eventbrite site.
- would allow us to collect the 'ticket fee'.
- could work for other companies to sell these tickets as well and gain us revenue.
My big issue with this, is that it might divert focus away from our primary pub trivia goal. But, looking at this being a $30-$50k/year recoup on what our customers already spend - its a pretty tantalizing idea.
What are your general thoughts on this idea? Is it too much work to be worth while?
(We will likely do $250k in ticket sales this year anyway and there would be about 35k in the ticket fees on top of that).

How can I sell tickets for a live event?
Main Post:
hello friends,
i'm looking for ideas on how to sell tickets to customers so they can reserve a seat at a live venue
of course, we'll need attendants by the door with some means of verifying the customers
what are my options to sell these kinds of tickets on my shopify store? i want to to do as little custom work as possible, however i am a skilled web developer and am ready for anything necessary
my first reaction was to look for an easy integration with a company like TicketMaster or Eventbrite, so that's what i'm searching for at the moment
any ideas? i'd appreciate any spitballin', thanks folks

If it's not more than a couple dozen people and general admission, I'd just set it up as a digital download and call it a day.

Why do my screenprinted posters fail to sell at events?
Main Post:
I run a storytelling event that generally sells out the venue. When we have had a merch table, the posters, which are beautiful, fail to sell.
We've had 9 events in 2015. We sold 2 posters @ events & none online. I'm trying to understand why.
I don't think it's the design or the quality of the print.
Any commentary you all can provide is welcomed, as I am not a collector.
The posters are 19"x25" & $20.00 + are limited edition (200 prints then the screens were reclaimed) screenprints designed by a local artist. Signed and numbered by the artist. Printed locally on 100# paper by Zoo City Apparel (the same guys who print a lot of stuff for Rhett & Link, DFTBA etc).

I think maybe it is the content. The art is great but its super specific and not artsy enough for people to spend $20 to hang on their wall to tell the world they went to your event. I don't mean that to be offensive, I'm sure your event is wonderful, but when I go to see a play I don't buy a poster and hang it on my wall saying I went to this play. Even if it was a GREAT play.
Maybe do something more fun and artistic, don't make the focus being they went to your show in XYZ year.
I hope I'm not coming off as too harsh. I know a lot of people who spend like $200+ on special edition posters, but they are amazing art, with amazing concepts or ideas, by amazing name brand artists. I'm not saying you have to have all that, you are only selling for $20, just trying to give you some idea of what I see that sells. I forget the name right now, but there is a group that sells posters and they sellout almost every time they post something within minutes. I'll find out the name in the morning and edit my post so you can check them out, maybe gain some ideas on what works.
Edit: The poster place that sells a ton of stuff is called Mondotees.
How often (if ever) do races sell out?
Main Post:
I'm asking because I am 1. buying tickets to a New Hampshire race this year and 2. notice a decent amount of empty seats at races on TV. My question is do races ever sell out completely? If so why, what races, and how common is it?
Top Comment: From what I can tell on TV, Loudon is one of the few tracks that does actually sell out (or come close to it). u/bloodshotnipples can probably give you a better idea about New Hampshire, though.
